Video: Bruce Pearl Fired Students Up For Auburn Basketball By Taking Over A Class

There's a bit of excitement surrounding Auburn basketball this year. The Tigers were picked to finish eighth in the 2014-15 SEC Media Poll, and there's a chance that they may make it to a postseason tournament for the first time since 2009. Part of this is due to the coaching hire the school made during the offseason, as the university brought in former Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl to lead the program.

Today, the school's athletic department released a video of Pearl, star guard KT Harrell, Aubie the Tiger, and members of Auburn's band, student section and cheerleading squad taking over a marketing class on campus. The group did this to try to fire people up for Tigers hoops, and to spread the word about the basketball team's early season event, "The Pearl Jam." It's awesome, check it out:

We're willing to bet that some of the students in that class are psyched for Auburn basketball. The Tigers will begin their 2014 campaign on Nov. 14, when the team takes on Milwaukee in the MGM Grand Main Event in Las Vegas.
