Auburn's quarterback competition likely won't come to an end until the upcoming 2016 college football season begins, but Tigers fans are sitting on the edge of their seats anxiously awaiting the outcome.
One of signal callers in question is transfer quarterback John Franklin III, who was on Florida State's roster when the Tigers met the Seminoles in the national title game in 2013. Franklin is fast, really fast, and has just as much athletic ability as former starter Nick Marshall, who led Auburn to that title game.
On Thursday, Franklin posted video to Twitter of himself running the 40-yard dash on campus, showing off some of that speed.

This is obviously an unofficial 40 time, but Franklin clearly has a lot to offer. It's still unclear who will be Auburn's starter. Should be a fun race to watch.
