Auburn is getting a major boost to its linebacking corps next year by landing one of the top LBs in the country.
On Wednesday afternoon, five-star OLB Owen Pappoe announced on Twitter that he was affirming his commitment to Auburn.
“Let me clear things up…I am 100% committed to Auburn!!! War Eagle,” he wrote.
Per 247Sports, Pappoe is the No. 1 OLB prospect in the country, and the No. 15 prospect in the country.

Pappoe, who attends Grayson Highschool, is the highest-rated prospect in Auburn’s upcoming recruiting class as of writing.
247Sports’ Crystal Ball Prediction had a near-even chance of going to Auburn (43-percent) or Georgia (46-percent).
The Tigers are going to need Pappoe to come in and make an impact quickly as senior LB Deshaun Davis is slated to play his final game in the Music City Bowl. The team has six OLB recruits coming into their class so far.
