Could Duke Williams be on his way to the NFL? According to a tweet sent out by Auburn’s wide receiver, it looks like he may be leaning towards declaring for the 2015 Draft. Williams tweeted out that he needs to consider what is best for him and his family earlier today.
I have to do what’s best for me and my family

Of course, this isn’t necessarily a guarantee that Williams is leaving, but it does seem like he’s leaning that way. Williams is not on ESPN’s Mel Kiper’s big board, nor is he on the list of eligible wide receivers in the 2015 Draft for CBS. However, CBS does have him as the No. 10 wide receiver in the 2016 Draft.
Williams joined Auburn earlier this year after beginning his collegiate career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He had a solid first season with the Tigers, as he caught 45 balls for 730 yards and five touchdowns. He also missed two games due to a knee injury. We’ll keep you updated on Williams’ status as more information comes in.
