For a few moments during last year’s Iron Bowl, it appeared that the game would be heading to overtime. Instead, a second was eventually added to the clock at the end of regulation, leading to what is perhaps the craziest ending in college football history. Before Chris Davis’ “Kick Six” touchdown, SportsCenter’s Twitter account accidentally jumped the gun a bit, and tweeted that the game would go to overtime.
A poster of that tweet is now displayed in the office of Auburn’s Assistant AD of Digital Media Jason Matheson, along with other examples of social media postings, for educational purposes for Auburn staff and students.

It certainly doesn’t hurt that this “teachable moment” coincided with one of the great plays in Auburn football history.
