2014 March Madness: Florida vs. UCLA – Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers, Line, Predictions

From 2006-2008, the UCLA Bruins reached the Final Four three straight seasons. Twice, they were eliminated by Billy Donovan's Florida Gators - once in the national title game, the other in the national semi-final. Think Bruins fans would love a little payback right now? As impressive as UCLA has been, taking down the red-hot Gators would be quite an accomplishment.

Date: Thursday, March 27, 2014

Time: 9:45 PM EST (approx.)

TV Channel: CBS

Location: FedexForum (Memphis, TN)

Announcers: Kevin Harlan, Len Elmore, Reggie Miller, Rachel Nichols

Opening Betting Line: Florida -5.5 (137) via Odds Shark

Prediction: It's hard to believe that this is the same UCLA team that lost to lowly Washington State back on March 8th. Since, the Bruins have rattled off three Pac-12 Tournament wins (including one over 1-seed Arizona) and two NCAA Tournament victories. Still, we're not sure they've faced as balanced a squad as No. 1 overall seed Florida.

Florida, on the other hand, hasn't lost a game since December 2nd. Sure, the Gators looked shaky against Albany, but they bounced back with a solid outing against Pittsburgh. No disrespect to the Bruins, but logic says that you bet on Florida here. They've earned the benefit of the doubt at this point.
