National Signing Day for the class of 2017 is still eight months away. Most schools are just starting to make inroads for the class of 2018. Florida already has a member of its class of 2019. Jaquaze Sorrells, a defensive end out of Largo, Fla. who is heading into his sophomore season of high school ball, announced his commitment to the Gators on Friday night.
Sorrells is unrated by the recruiting services as such a young player, but if Florida is prepared to take his commitment, it is a safe bet that he will be a top recruit. According to 247Sports, only five members of the 2019 class are committed, two of which have pledged to the Gators.
