4-Star Florida Commit Chauncey Gardner Has Perfect Response To People Who Say He's Joining A Losing Program

Over the last two years, the Florida Gators, surprisingly, have actually lost more games than they've won. But with a new head coach in Jim McElwain and a 2016 recruiting class that seems to be improving every day, fans are expecting a rather speedy recovery for their favorite program. Four-star defensive back commit Chauncey Gardner might be the most optimistic person of all, however.

This week, Gardner took to Twitter to vent some frustration about fans telling him that he's going to a "losing program." His response? "Respond with a smile and keep it moving." He's confident that his presence will be a huge reason that UF turns things around.

Florida fans have to like Gardner's confidence, regardless of whether or not his stance is realistic.

The Gators open the season with New Mexico State on September 5. Expect Gardner and the rest of the team's recruits to keep a close eye on the campaign.
