The early signing period for the class of 2019 starts in a few days, but recruiting is already well underway in the class of 2020.

Marietta (Ga.) four-star safety Rashad Torrence chose to make an early commitment today. The 2020 star is heading to the SEC.

Torrence announced his commitment to Florida this evening. He also held offers from Alabama, Clemson, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State and others.

Torrence revealed his decision on Twitter.

Torrence is the No. 18 safety and the 311th-rated overall prospect in the 2020 cycle, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Here is a look at UF's early 2020 class, which is top 10 in the country.
