Brandon Spikes, Former Florida Teammate Of Aaron Hernandez, Facing Criticism For Justice System Tweets

Former Florida tight end Aaron Hernandez, who later starred for the New England Patriots in the NFL, was convicted of the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd Wednesday morning by a jury of his peers. Hernandez has been sentenced to life in prison, with no parole.

This apparently doesn't sit well with his former Florida teammate, Brandon Spikes. Spikes took to Twitter following the announcement of the verdict, putting the justice system on blast.

Spikes is getting crushed on social media for his tweets. Here's a sampling of what's out there.

It isn't shocking to see a former teammate standing up for Hernandez, but Spikes probably would have been better served keeping his thoughts off social media. Either way, it looks like despite Hernandez' conviction, there are some who still believe he's innocent.
