Eddy Pineiro, Florida's sophomore kicker, was charged with misdemeanor property damage, allegedly to two scooters.

Gainesville Sun writer Graham Hall reports that campus police have a sworn complaint against the Florida kicker, for damages totaling $800.

247Sports' Thomas Goldkamp asked head coach Jim McElwain about Pineiro's status, and McElwain said he was good to go, but Goldkamp is unsure if McElwain was aware of the complaint at the time of the question.

Florida has a huge game at LSU this weekend, a game that was originally supposed to be played in Gainesville, but was moved due to complications from Hurricane Matthew.

On the season, Pineiro, who has one of the biggest legs in college football, is 13-for-17 on field goals, and a perfect 25-for-25 on extra points. He is 3-for-3 on kicks of over 50 yards this year.

We'll update if more comes out on Eddy Pineiro's status going forward.
