Florida Coach Will Muschamp Says He Wants To Work Somewhere Next Year

Will Muschamp may be one of the hottest coaches on the market this offseason. Florida's coach will leave the program at the end of the 2014 season, and according to Muschamp, he would like to coach somewhere next year.

While his tenure at Florida hasn't been very successful, the one thing that the Gators have always done well under Muschamp was play defense. He has a reputation for being an excellent defensive coach, and was the defensive coordinator at five different places from 2000 to 2010 -- Valdosta State, LSU, the Miami Dolphins, Auburn and Texas.

Muschamp did mention that he will evaluate his situation after the Gators' last game against Florida State, which will be his last contest as the team's coach. He didn't expand on whether he wants to be a head coach or something else, but if a team needs a defensive coordinator next year, he would be a home run hire.
