Florida has dismissed true freshman defensive lineman Gerald Willis from the team, according to multiple reports.
Willis, a four-star recruit in the 2014 class, has had a troubled time in Gainesville, Fla. The 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive end was the player who cheap shotted Jameis Winston during the Florida State game. In early October, Willis reportedly got into a fight with teammate redshirt sophomore quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
His dismissal Tuesday afternoon reportedly comes after another altercation with a teammate.

Willis totaled 10 tackles this past season. Coming out of high school, he picked Florida over Alabama, LSU, Nebraska, Texas and Texas A&M, among other offers. Despite his issues with the Gators, he will likely have plenty of potential suitors.
