Florida Football: Florida Lands 2-Time FCS All-American OT Mason Halter

Mason Halter, a two-time FCS All-American offensive tackle, is transferring to Florida. 

The 6-foot-8, 300-pound left tackle from Fordham has graduated and is eligible to play right away this fall. 

Halter announced the news on Instagram. 

This is a major boost for the Gators' offensive line. Jim McElwain is off to a good start in Gainesville, Fla.
