Florida Football Gives Its Graduate Players Special SEC Patch For Uniforms

Florida is honoring its graduate student-athletes with a special SEC patch to be worn on their jerseys.

Redshirt senior quarterback Austin Appleby and redshirt junior linebacker Alex Anzalone will both be be donning their game-day uniforms with a little something extra for the rest of the season.

Florida decided to acknowledge the two for their hard work and dedication inside the classroom with a nice little patch on their jerseys.

Florida isn't the first school to do this. Arkansas announced earlier this year that all student-athletes who had earned their degree but still were competing for the Razorbacks would get to wear the patch.

It seems like a great way to recognize the athletes for their achievements off the field.

The Forida Gators host the Missouri Tigers this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET and the game is being broadcast on SEC Network.
