Florida Announces Walk-On Kicker Tryout On Twitter

The Florida Gators are having a pretty strong first season under Jim McElwain, but the kicking position has become a problem. Starter Austin Hardin and his backup Jorge Powell have both suffered injuries already this year, and now, Florida is looking to the student body for someone who can put the ball through the uprights.

The SEC East is still very much in play for the Gators. If they get there with a mid-year walk-on kicking the ball, it would be a pretty cool story.
