Florida Gators WR Antonio Callaway Reportedly Cited For Marijuana Possession

Florida Gators wide receiver Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession.

Over the weekend, the Gainesville Police Department cited Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway for marijuana possession, according to a report from TampaBay.com.

From TampaBay.com:

The Gainesville Police Department stopped him (Callaway) and Kendrick Williams early Saturday morning for a seatbelt violation. Police smelled marijuana and found about 7 grams in Callaway's pants. Another 5.4 grams of marijuana was found in the car. Both Callaway and Williams claimed ownership of it, according to the police report.

A court case for Callaway is scheduled for June 6.

As far as transgressions go, this one is a relatively minor one, but it will still be a mark on Callaway's resume when he eventually auditions for the NFL. He was previously accused of sexual assault last year, but was cleared of any wrongdoing in the case.

In two seasons with the Gators, Callaway has racked up 1,399 yards and seven touchdowns on 89 receptions.
