Florida Has Officially Hired Michigan's Doug Nussmeier To Be The Gators' Offensive Coordinator

Florida has officially hired Doug Nussmeier to be the Gators' offensive coordinator, the school announced Wednesday afternoon. 

Nussmeier, 44, spent the past year as Michigan's offensive coordinator. The Wolverines struggled in 2014, ranking No. 112 in the country in points per game (20.9). Nussmeier was previously the offensive coordinator at Alabama for two seasons. 

Jim McElwain is building quite the staff at Florida. Last week, he poached Geoff Collins from Mississippi State to become his defensive coordinator.
