Florida OL Rod Johnson On His Playing Career Coming To An End: "Crap Ain't Fair Man"
Rod Johnson's playing career is over. The Florida offensive lineman was forced to retire earlier this month when it was discovered that he has a congenital spinal condition.
Johnson, a redshirt sophomore, started three games in 2014. He was expected to be a key contributor to the Gators' 2015 squad.
The 6-foot-6, 296-pound tweeted about his early retirement Sunday morning.
