Florida Scored A Run On This Crazy Trick Baserunning Play

A Florida runner falls down as his teammate steals home.

Florida and Auburn are locked in a tight battle in Game 3 of their Super Regional in Gainesville. The winner goes to the College World Series.

The score is tied at 2 after eight innings. Florida scored its second run earlier in the night in incredible fashion.

With two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Nick Horvath was on first base for the Gators while Blake Reese was on third. The two combined on a memorable double steal.

Horvath took a big lead and intentionally fell down far from first base. While Auburn pitcher Andrew Mitchell focused his attention on that and prepared to throw over, Reese got a huge lead and took off for home.

By the time Mitchell realized what was going on, it was too late.

That is absolutely amazing. When the College World Series is on the line, you pull out all the stops.
