Two undefeated SEC teams face off this weekend as Florida takes on LSU in a top 10 showdown. The Tigers are hosting and are a stunning two-touchdown favorite in this game.
Naturally, the trash talking has been going on for a while now and LSU is trying to psyche out Florida. But Gators wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland isn’t hearing any of it.
In an interview with Swamp247, Cleveland made it clear that he can’t wait for Saturday. As much as trash talking as both sides have done, he plans on seeing his fellow Gators talk last.
“I’m gonna just wait… Just wait till Saturday. He’s got to get on the field Saturday night and we’re going to get on the field. At the end of the game we’re going to see who’s talking last.”
LSU and Florida have alternated wins and losses over the past four years, going 1-1 at each of their respective homes.
In each of the last three years, the lower-ranked team has upset the higher-ranked team. Can Cleveland help make that trend continue in 2019?
The last time this game was played in Baton Rouge was in 2016. No. 21 Florida beat No. 16 LSU 16-10 thanks to a pair of Eddy Piñeiro fourth-quarter field goals.
