Florida's Caleb Brantley Upset With Bowl Selection, Thinks Other Teams Play "Cupcake" Schedules

The 2014 season was technically an improvement for the Florida Gators, as the team won six games and reached the postseason. But it's fair to say that per usual Florida standards, it was another disappointing year. Gators freshman defensive tackle Caleb Brantley is apparently upset with where his team is headed for their bowl game, too.

Brantley took to Twitter to complain about his team's bowl location (Birmingham), his team's opponent (ECU), and the fact that he believes that other teams play "cupcake" schedules to rack up wins.

If we're being honest, Florida's non-conference schedule, which is the only part controllable by the school, isn't really negotiable. Florida was supposed to play Idaho (it was rained out) in its first game. It played Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Michigan. Its rivalry contest against Florida State isn't going to be removed. Florida is only going to reach a better bowl game by winning more SEC contests.
