Florida's Rod Johnson Officially Calls It Quits: "I Would Hate For My Mom To See Me In A Wheel Chair"

Florida offensive lineman Rod Johnson will stay retired after all. Johnson, who was forced to cut his career short back in April due to a congenital spinal condition, vowed earlier this month that'd he continue seeking opinionsuntil a doctor would clear him to continue playing football. But Monday afternoon, Johnson tweeted that he's making the decision to call it quits for good. He mentioned that he doesn't want his mother to have to see him in a wheel chair.
