Former NFL WR Chad Johnson Would Like To Be Florida's WR Coach

Back in early December, Chad Johnson tweeted he wanted to become Michigan's head football coach. The Wolverines opted to go in a different direction, hiring Jim Harbaugh.

Johnson apparently hasn't given up on his dream of becoming a college football coach. The wide receivers coach position on Jim McElwain's staff at Florida is currently open. Johnson, who played in the NFL for 12 years, making the Pro Bowl six times, would like the job.

He'll be sending his film to McElwain.

Do I need to send my film? I was covered twice in a 12 year span RT @APMarkLong: Gators still don't appear to have a WRs coach

Johnson, who played collegiately at Oregon State, certainly has a vast knowledge of the wide receiver position. Would you be in favor of the former NFL star strolling the sideline in Gainesville, Gator fans?
