When former Georgia safety Tray Matthews, after his dismissal from the program, announced on Twitter that he was looking to possibly transfer to Auburn, another SEC school, some fans were skeptical as to whether Mark Richt and the Bulldogs would allow it. But according to Matthews, he has no restrictions on where he can continue his college football career. Matthews spoke with 11Alive Sportsand told them that he's looking at Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Louisville.
He said that those four schools are "all over him".
Matthews says Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Louisville are the schools he is focusing on right now. He says they are "all over him" and that his mom is dealing with a lot of the calls.
Matthews can go anywhere he wants. He has no restrictions, and when asked about it, said he is thankful for the UGA Athletic Department policy and for Coach Richt allowing him to choose.
Matthews' former teammate Shaq Wiggins tweeted earlier this week that he expects him to join him in Louisville. Clearly, it looks like he has a few options to weigh.
