Hugh Freeze Denies Interest In Florida Job, May Have New Ole Miss Deal In The Works

When a program like Florida has a job opening, it is pretty much certain that dozens of big-name coaches will be floated out as potential candidates. Everyone from Rich Rodriguez to Dan Mullen to Steve Spurrier has been connected to the Gators opening, but most have denied interest. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze is among them. When asked about the opening, he shut down any speculation about take the job in Gainesville.

To further shoot down speculation, Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjorn said that he is working on an extension to keep Freeze in Oxford.
