Dan Mullen has already made changes to the Florida coaching staff.
Dan Mullen was just named the head coach at Florida on Sunday, and he’s already made some significant changes to the staff.
Per SEC Country, Mullen has decided not to retain interim coach Randy Shannon, offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier and assistant coaches Robb Akey, Corey Bell, Kerry Dixon II and Greg Nord.
Assistants Brad Davis, Chris Rumph, Ja’Juan Seider and Tim Skipper remain on the staff and will continue to recruit this week, but it’s unclear if they’ll remain with the Gators or not.
In addition, Mississippi State wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales and offensive line coach John Hevesy have joined Mullen’s staff at Florida, per SEC Country.
