Florida’s offense has struggled – greatly – since Treon Harris took over at quarterback following Will Grier’s suspension. The sophomore quarterback has totaled only 1,365 passing yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions this season. On Saturday, the Gators’ offense put up zero points in a loss to Florida State.
Jim McElwain remains confident in his quarterback, though.
The Gators’ coach said tonight that Harris will lead Florida out of the tunnel at the SEC Championship Game Saturday afternoon.
“He’s gonna have a great week of practice. I’m proud he’s a Gators. He’s going to lead us out of that tunnel in Atlanta.” — Mac on Treon
