Justin Fields, the nation's No. 1 dual-threat quarterback, is adding to his busy visit schedule.
Fields, the No. 3 overall player in the country, announced his decommitment from Penn State last week.
The Nittany Lions are still in the running for Fields, he says, but this week the Georgia native has been focusing on schools closer to home.
Monday, the Kennesaw product made the trip to his home state Georgia Bulldogs. On Tuesday, he was at Auburn. Wednesday, he made the trip down to Florida State.
Fields competes this weekend in the NFA7v7 National Championship at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. After the tournament concludes, he plans to visit Florida on his way back to the Peach State.
Apparently this is actually his second trip to the school. SEC Country reports he secretly visited on May 6, but did not publicize the visit, as he was still committed to Penn State. Florida did not wane on its recruiting efforts through that commitment, though. The site reports that he receives texts from five Florida coaches daily.
Fields plans to announce his commitment before the beginning of his senior season.
