For those unaware, a statue of confederate general Edmund Kirby Smith will be taken down from the U.S. Capitol's National Statuary Hall after a vote this past March - leaving Florida short one representative. State senator Marco Rubio took to Twitter with an interesting suggestion for the vacancy.
Rubio thinks former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, who won two national championships with the Gators, is a good candidate.

We assume Rubio is kidding, but who knows. Tebow is a college football legend, but we're not sure he really fits in with the others on display in our nation's capital.
