Will Muschamp is not a popular man in Gainesville. Florida is 3-3 this season, and on Saturday, the Gators got waxed by Missouri at home, 42-13, despite holding the Tigers to 119 yards of total offense. This led to fans at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium chanting "fire Muschamp" during the third quarter of the game.
Despite these calls for Muschamp to lose his job, Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley offered support for his football coach today, saying that he wants to support the team as it prepares to face Georgia this weekend.
