Mack Brown - Florida's senior running back, not the retired coach - isn't giving up on the Gators' 2014 season.
Florida, which has started the season 3-3, 2-3 in the SEC, seems to be on its way to another unsuccessful campaign after a 4-8 year in 2013. Brown, though, has other plans.
The 5-foot-11, 209-pound running back, who has ran for 65 yards this season, says the Gators need to follow Will Muschamp on way to five straight wins.
Florida's next five games: Georgia, at Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, at Florida State. Winning each of those contests would probably save Muschamp's job, though the Gators certainly haven't played well enough for anyone to expect that to happen.
The Gators have a bye this Saturday before facing the Bulldogs in Jacksonville.
