Photo: Florida Tweets Out Dorky "Beet Bama" Photo Ahead Of Saturday's Game

Florida heads to Tuscaloosa to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide this Saturday for what could wind up being an absolutely huge SEC contest. And while it may not be a surprise to see the Gators attempting to trash talk their opponent, the method they've chosen is highly questionable. The school tweeted out a photo of sliced beets in the shape of the state of Alabama, along with the phrase "Beet Bama."

There's also a play on words involving the fact that beets are a root vegetable. It's about as dorky as it gets.

Perhaps this is a response to Alabama's dining halls serving Gator-shaped bread this week. Or maybe someone actually thought this was a good idea.
