Donovan, who racked up over 500 victories in his collegiate career, inherits an incredibly talented Thunder team that just missed the playoffs this past season.

According to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, the two sides are still finalizing a "multi-year" deal.

This isn't the first time Donovan has strongly considered making the jump to the NBA. Back in 2007, Donovan accepted an offer to coach the Orlando Magic before changing his mind and heading back to Florida. There's no word yet on when he'll be introduced as coach.
