Report: Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy Is 'Pursuing' The Florida Job

Mike Gundy is listed as the favorite to land the soon-to-be vacant Florida head coach position, and according to a report, the Oklahoma State coach wants the job.

Ryan Bartow, a national recruiting insider for 247Sports, is reporting that Gundy is "pursuing" the Gators' job.

Hiring Gundy would make some sense for a Florida program in need of an offensive mind. Oklahoma State annually boasts one of the country's most potent offenses.

Gundy denied any interest in the position earlier this week.

Gundy, 47, has been the head coach at Oklahoma State since 2005. He's the most successful coach in the history of the Cowboys' program, winning 82 games.
