Steve Spurrier Doesn't Want The Florida Job, Says He's Already Had His Run In Gainesville

Steve Spurrier doesn't plan on being Florida's next football coach. After it was announced that Gators coach Will Muschamp will not return to the program next season, the Old Ball Coach decided to get out in front of any rumors that would suggest that he will make a return to Gainesville, saying that he's already had his run at the helm of the Gators.

Spurrier was Florida's head coach from 1990-2001, where he won six SEC titles and a national championship. He is the school's all-time leader in wins (122) and win percentage (.817 percent).

The Old Ball Coach has said in the past that, while he does plan on moving to Florida when he's done at South Carolina, it will be after he retires and not to coach the Gators.
