In just over 24 hours the 2019 college football season kicks off with an in-state battle between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes.

The Week 0 game is a major non-conference contest that pits the ACC against the SEC. With just over a day until the two teams face off, a former Gator is fired up for the game and college football in general.

Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow posted a photo from his days as the Gators' quarterback.

It's safe to say he's ready for the game to start.

Earlier this week, Tebow joined the Paul Finebaum Show to preview the game.

During his time on the show, Tebow called it the biggest season-opener Florida has played in over 10 years.

Here's what Tebow had to say:

"This is huge. This is an opportunity where they've gotten so much hype but now you have to live up to it. Last year doesn't matter anymore. What you did this summer, the hype, being top-10 it doesn't matter. You have to show up on the field and you have to earn it this year."

The Gators enter the 2019 season after a 10-win season in Dan Mullen's first year as the team's head coach.

Florida and Miami kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
