Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has coached in some of the toughest environments in the country.

Taking the Buckeyes on the road to the Big House, facing off against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Meyer has done it all. But which college football program provides the toughest atmosphere?

Earlier this week, Meyer was asked that very question.

So, who did he go with?

Meyer thinks the Florida Gators and home crowd in Gainesville have the best atmosphere in college football.

"Steve Spurrier named it the Swamp I believe in the 90's, it’s very hot. Gainesville is obviously right in the center of the state. Not a whole lot of air circulates in the center of the state of Florida, especially early in the season. It is so hot.

Only Gators get out alive, is what Steve Spurrier said. The fans, the student body is incredible. The fans are out of their damn minds. When we had that thing going, a night game in the Swamp was second to none."

Meyer has been giving the Gators plenty of love this week.

He revealed Tim Tebow was his favorite quarterback to coach during his time in college. Perhaps he's trying to atone for how things ended with Florida.
