On Tuesday afternoon, former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer revealed which of his quarterbacks he liked to coach most during his career.
It's no surprise Meyer went with one of the best quarterbacks in college football history.
During a luncheon panel this afternoon, the former Florida Gators star said Tim Tebow is his favorite quarterback.
Tebow played a role on the Gators' national title-winning team in 2006 before becoming "the guy" for his final three seasons at Florida. During that time, he brought home another national title and a Heisman Trophy.
Meyer coached a few notable quarterbacks during his career. Former Utah quarterback Alex Smith might not have been the No. 1 overall pick in 2005 without Meyer's tutelage.
After coaching Florida for six years, Meyer resigned from his post. He spent a year away from the game before landing at Ohio State.
Meyer went on to coach J.T. Barrett, Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones and Dwayne Haskins - among others. In the end, though, the head coach select his former Gators star as his favorite to coach.
Tebow is one of the most well-liked athletes in the country, so it comes as no surprise.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if Meyer comes back to college football.
