Former Florida offensive tackle D.J. Humphries was taken at No. 24 overall by the Arizona Cardinals in this year's NFL Draft. He's the second Florida Gator to be taken tonight - after Dante Fowler Jr.

Humphries, who was ranked as one of the top overall prospects in the country out of high school, developed into a formidable force on the offensive line the past few seasons in Florida. Humphries, at 6-foot-5, 307 pounds, has the size required to be successful in the NFL, but he's been knocked for his lack of agility in the past. He's going to have a successful career if he works on the fundamentals.
According to NFL.com, Humphries' closest comparison is D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Here's more:
An elite-level tackle when he exited the high school ranks, Humphries relies on his superior athleticism and fist-fight mentality rather than an improved skill set and steady technique. He might always have an issue with being a leaner, but his hand placement should improve with more work and coaching.
The Carolina Panthers are now on the clock.
