Mecole Hardman Jr., a five-star athlete out of Georgia in the 2016 class, has been considering the Bulldogs for a while. He's uncommitted, though most recruiting analysts expect him to end up at Georgia.
Does the Mark Richt news change that? We'll see.
Hardman posted the following on Twitter today, sending an apparent message to Georgia: keep defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt or I'm not coming.
Pruitt has been the lead recruiter for Hardman, who is ranked the No. 1 player at his position and the No. 21 player in the class by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings.
Hardman is reportedly also considering Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State and Michigan, among other programs.
