One of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2020 is Florida-native Carson Beck. The big quarterback from Jacksonville has been receiving offers from just about every top program in the country, but has now made his commitment.
Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Beck announced that he would be taking his talents to the SEC - but not to the Florida Gators. Instead, he announced that he would be committing to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Per 247Sports, Beck is a four-star prospect. He is the No. 62 prospect in the country, the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the country, and the No. 7 prospect from the state of Florida.
Beck's commitment makes him the highest-rated pro-style quarterback to commit in the Class of 2020.
With Beck added to the fold, Georgia has now added five recruits with a four-star rating or better to its class.
However, Georgia is still trailing behind the likes of Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M and Mississippi State in 247Sports' current SEC rankings. All of those schools have more recruits than the Bulldogs.
The commitment certainly might come as a shock to Florida fans. 247Sports' Crystal Ball predictions had given the Gators an 86-percent chance of securing the 6-foot-4 quarterback.
Beck had also been weighing offers from Alabama, Miami, FSU, and Penn State, among others.
