Georgia’s quarterback situation is currently a little muddled.
There are three QBs – Brice Ramsey, Faton Bauta and Jacob Park – competing for the Bulldogs’ starting job. That number might soon increase to four. Mark Richt confirmed today that his program is recruiting Virginia graduate transfer Greyson Lambert, who would be eligible to play this fall.
There won’t be much of a competition next summer, though, according to Mecole Hardman Jr. The 2016 four-star athlete says Georgia’s QB battle will be “over” once five-star quarterback Jacob Eason, a Bulldogs’ commit, arrives on campus.

He might not be wrong.
Eason, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound pro-style QB, is ranked the No. 1 player at his position in his class and the No. 3 player overall by 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings. The Washington native should be one of the most-talented quarterbacks to ever play for Richt.
Hardman, meanwhile, is reportedly a Georgia lean.
Recruiting is going pretty well for the Bulldogs.
