While Myles Murao still has ways to go until he makes his college decision, the four-star recruit did narrow his list on Thursday. Despite having 17 offers to play college football, the California native is down to just seven programs.
The four-star center is listed as the No. 2 recruit at his position, per 247Sports. Most teams would welcome the chance to add Murao to their offensive line.
As of right now, four of the programs in contention to land Murao are from the Pac-12. However, the SEC is represented pretty well at this stage of his recruitment.
Murao announced the seven teams remaining on his list, which includes Georgia, Texas A&M, Washington, USC, LSU, Oregon, and UCLA.

Georgia wasn’t considered a threat in the initial process, but clearly Murao is impressed with the university.
LSU and Georgia have the No. 3 and No. 4 recruiting classes in the country, respectively. Nonetheless, 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions has Murao committing to USC.
It wouldn’t be too surprising if Murao does go to the Trojans. Playing at USC would keep him close to his home of Santa Ana, while also teaming up with fellow Mater Dei star Bru McCoy.
Murao could decide to cut his list down one more time before making his final decision.
