Elijah Holyfield, a four-star running back in the 2016 class, has committed to Georgia.
The son of former heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield, Elijah is a 5-foot-10, 204-pound prospect out of Atlanta, Ga. He's ranked the No. 5 running back in his class and the No. 166 player overall by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings.
He announced his commitment at a ceremony at his high school, picking the Bulldogs over Auburn and Alabama, among other programs. And he used live bulldogs to announce the commitment, as displayed in the following video from Rivals.com's Woody Wommack.
Georgia's 2016 class now has 17 commitments. It's a top-10 class nationally and a top-five class in the SEC.
