On Saturday afternoon, one of the biggest games of the college football weekend took place in the SEC.
No. 5 Georgia hosted No. 8 Florida in what promised to deliver one of the weekend’s best games. The game got off to a fast start as Georgia star running back Zamir White raced for a 75-yard touchdown run.
Just a few minutes later, the Bulldogs appeared to add another touchdown. Quarterback Stetson Bennett found wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint for a 32-yard touchdown.
Unfortunately, Rosemy-Jacksaint appeared to suffer a nasty leg injury during the play. Officials weren’t sure if the wide receiver scored on the play, so CBS decided to show multiple replays of the play.
That subjected fans to watching Rosemy-Jacksaint’s devastating lower leg injury. Fans weren’t exactly happy with the network’s decision to keep showing the young wide receiver in anguish.
Why is CBS showing multiple replays of a gruesome injury?

It’s amazing he was able to hold onto the ball considering he suffered a significant injury to his lower leg. Team personnel eventually carted him off the field and took him into the locker room.
Georgia extended its lead to 14-0 on the score. However, the Florida Gators responded with a touchdown drive of their own to close the lead to 14-7.
Georgia entered as a slight favorite and it looks like this will be a close contest.
