Florida-Georgia is the marquee college football matchup this week. The annual rivalry game in Jacksonville will decide the SEC East, with the losing team's College Football Playoff chances destroyed.
FS1's Colin Cowherd weighed in with his prediction for the game. He's picking the Bulldogs, 24-23, but he's not quite sold on them in general and is bullish on Florida covering the touchdown spread.
"I'm gonna take the points. I like the number here, Florida +6.5," Cowherd said. "We just don't know what Georgia is. Now the Notre Dame win doesn't look like anything because Notre Dame got their ears boxed by Michigan. What is Georgia? They can't throw the ball down the field. I love their athletes and I like their coach. They've got more good players in this game but Jake Fromm, the quarterback, has dropped off the last two weeks."
Cowherd adds that Florida is "really well-coached" but thinks the Gators are still a year away. That's probably why he's still taking Georgia to win the game.

Georgia has won the last two meetings between these two schools in resounding fashion, beating the Gators 42-7 and 36-17. Florida won three in a row from 2014-2016 though.
All-time, Georgia leads the series 52-43-2. The 98th matchup will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday on CBS.
