If the Georgia Bulldogs are going to defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks, they’ll most likely have to do it without star quarterback JT Daniels.
Daniels was listed as a game-time decision heading into this Saturday because of a lat injury. Although he’s in uniform this afternoon, Seth Emerson of The Athletic pointed out that Daniels hasn’t done much during the pregame warm-ups.
With Daniels not at 100 percent, Georgia will start Stetson Bennett at quarterback this afternoon. He started earlier this year against UAB, completing 10-of-12 passes for 288 yards and five touchdowns.
Stetson Bennett will get his second start this season. While JT Daniels is dressed out he’s not done much in pregame.

Even though Bennett has experience playing in Kirby Smart’s offense, there are some analysts who believe the Bulldogs’ quarterback situation could cost them a win this Saturday.
“If Georgia QB JT Daniels can’t go…could be setting up nicely for an upset,” NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller said. “No disrespect to Stetson Bennett, but that’s a significant movement if he’s actually out.”

“Yikes JT Daniels out, Stetson Bennett starting for UGA,” Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports said. “Hope some of you got in on Arkansas +18 or whatever.”

Bennett played well against Arkansas last season, throwing for 211 yards and two touchdowns. If he can have a similar performance today, Georgia should be just fine.
Arkansas and Georgia will kick off at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
