2020 is increasingly becoming about as good a year for the Georgia Bulldogs as they could possibly have. Between their Sugar Bowl win over Baylor and their current status as the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation, all is well in Athens. But their recruiting efforts are already getting better.
According to Radi Nabulsi of UGASports.com, Georgia is getting a player to flip his commitment from an SEC rival. Daran Branch, a three-star cornerback who was committed to Ole Miss, has officially signed with the Bulldogs.
Announcing from his school’s auditorium the morning of National Signing Day, three-star cornerback Daran Branch of Amite (La.) High School signed with Georgia, becoming the Bulldogs’ fourth defensive back for the 2020 class.
247Sports rates Branch as the No. 672 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 51 cornerback in the nation, and the No. 28 prospect from the state of Louisiana.

Branch committed to the Rebels this past November, but continued to conduct visits and pick up scholarship offers. He got an offer from Georgia in December and took an official visit to Athens in January.
Despite making an official visit to Ole Miss the following week, Georgia apparently left the biggest impression.
The Bulldogs now have 28 incoming players in the Class of 2020.
That’s a terrific haul for Kirby Smart and his staff. Well done!
