Georgia Football: Report: QB Jacob Park Is Transferring From Georgia

With the graduation of Hutson Mason, Georgia's quarterback situation is very unsettled. Three of the signal callers on the roster were vying for the starting job before the Dawgs accepted the transfer of Virginia's Greyson Lambert. Now, one of the young quarterbacks is leaving Athens, according to reports.

Dawgs247 has confirmed through multiple sources that redshirt freshman quarterback Jacob Park is no longer with the Georgia football team. In his second season with UGA, Park was thought to be a major contender for the Bulldogs' open quarterback job going into the spring, but received far fewer first-team reps than Brice Ramsey or Faton Bauta in any of the team's scrimmages.

Park was a four-star recruit, and the No. 5 pro-style quarterback in the 2013 recruiting class. There should be plenty of interest, now that he's available.
